CHKDSK recovered .AVI files as .CHK files, can I repair them?
I mounted a miniDV camera in my r/c truck to take some in-car camera video of jumps and had some HUGE crashes that caused the camera to turn-off, or otherwise abruptly stopped recordings. While examining the camera’s microSD card on my computer I noticed lots of “used” space on the disk, but no visible files. Ran a CHKDSK and it found/recovered four files (FILE0000.CHK, etc.) I renamed the files to *.AVI and tried to play them in my media player, but the first ‘frame’ appears as a still picture and the sound plays for 10-20 seconds then it goes blank and stops.
Are these video files repairable?
I’m guessing the recording process was interrupted before the camera could properly stop recording and save the files. Does this mean they’re missing some kind of ‘index’ or ‘footer’ info that the camera usually writes to the file when you push ‘Stop’? Is there any way of repairing these files, or extracting the video/audio data?
Any help is greatly appreciated!! =)

everytime i try to ollie while moving my board turns, and i think its b/c my trucks r bad, but i’m not sure.. i’m not scooping my foot nor am i leening to a side… i center my body wen i ollie in motion but my board turns,……… can any1 help me??? please send a link of a video if u can

Almost all problems with low ollies come from not picking the feet up high enough. When ollying, you need to have your shoulders centered (not be hunched over super far – pull those shoulders back a little. Some hunch is OK, but you need to be relaxed, with your weight centered over the board), and when you snap that back foot, PULL THOSE FEET UP INTO THE AIR! Actually slam your knees into your chest if you can. Practice a lot (even without the board before so you can feel how it’s like).
If you are still having problems, here’s the next step. Go out and try to ollie, pulling those feet UP, and don’t even worry about what your front foot does. You likely know that you should be sliding it up the board, right? Well, for now, just don’t think about it. Focus on getting those feet up high, and let the board figure itself out. Try this a few times, and see what happens.
Don’t read more of this article – go outside, do this a few times, and then come back. You might fall. That’s OK.
Some skaters get so focused on sliding that front foot, that they are actually pushing the board down with it. If you found your ollie was higher after that, then you are one of these people. That’s OK – now you see what’s going on, and you can focus more on letting everything happen with your ollies, instead of forcing it to happen. Go out and practice some more.
You are still going to have to figure out how to slide that front foot, and not doing so can also keep your ollies low. And, without sliding that front foot, you aren’t really ollying! Here’s the foot sliding section of the How to Ollie instructions, to find out more.
Still having problems? The truth is, ollies are tough to figure out without having someone there watching you, giving you advice. But even then, if the person giving you advice isn’t good at explaining things in ways that make sense to you, you might still be frustrated.
Read “How to Ollie” for some detailed explanations, and take a look at the “Troubleshooting” section at the end. Ask someone you know and trust to watch you, and point out what’s going on. The person doesn’t even have to know how to ollie – have them take a look at the Learn How To Ollie article, and they should have an idea. Or videotape yourself, and watch it. Try different things – move your feet around on the board, try ollying while rolling, or while standing still. If you still have problems, then practice more, and drop by the Skateboarding Forum and ask for more help!
As you’ve already said, your trucks might be hard, maybe you should replace it. Or maybe you scoop or leen it to a side and don’t even notice. Remember, that’s more than understanding how to ollie and practicing it a lot. You gotta also figure out what you’re doing wrong. Once you’ve done an ollie, try to think about what you did and what went wrong and what worked. So try it again, trying not to do what you have done wrong and keeping on doing what was correct. Film it if you need, so you can see what you are doing better, in a different angle and even slow it down if you can’t get it. Best of luck!

apparently some one answered, who ever she called. She was sobbing into the phone and i heard the person say something, and Sevvy started to talk, “A-a-auntie, s-s-s-am,” She said. the phone started to go dead, and so she put her on speaker. “Sweetie? whats going on? Sevvy talk to me!” auntie sammi said. Sevvy took a deep breath. “My mom…She…was, in a car crash…and she…shes gone…shes gone auntie sammi…can u fly down here?” take us away, from this, horrid place.” Sevvy said. “…Sweetie, I’ll be down there AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!” auntie sammi said. After sevvy hung up, she hugged me and we cried into each others shoulders…In that horrid house…soon enough we fell asleep.

Um its a little boring. Are they like redneck because of the “AINT LISTENING” part. Also the change the last name its a little too weird. Who would want their last name to be mosnter?
