Looking for mini/micro RC?
Im looking for a small RC to drive in my house. I’m thinking about a losi micro sct or a redcat sumo truggy but I’m open to other mini/micro rcs. Please post what you think of these two and/or any other mini/micro rcs you can think of. Thanks!!

Good choice for the Losi micro. Good RC. Many upgrades for it. Like brushless system, aluminum parts, suspension, wheels & tires. I’d also take a look at Kyosho’s Mini-Z. Also Atomic & Kenon have a lot of selections on Mini-Z. Many upgrades for them. See sites. Enjoy.

I am looking to purchase an RC electric car, what car would be best?
I want to purchase an RC Monster truck I am looking into the Earthquake 8e by Redcat with lipo batteries. I found it on Ebay for $339US I wanted to know if it is a good choice or if I can get a better truck for the price. I am not looking to spend more than $400US. I originally started looking into Nitro trucks but since this would be my first I don’t want to deal with all the mechanical tuning and gas blending and all. Please let me know if the Earthquake 8e good be good or should I look into another RC monster truck.

For your first RC truck in your price range, thats a good starter kit. If you do get the RC truck, make sure that the local hobby store carries all the spare parts from Redcat. Meaning if anything breaks, you can easily buy it, replace the part & be back driving the truck. If not then buying online might be the other choice which you have to wait for delivery. Just something to think about.
Losi also have RC trucks that you might be interested in. It’ll be a little bit more bit their quality, durability & name says it all. Team Associated in another that has offroad trucks. Kyosho are also very good in quality & durability. Though they are a little more in price, but still very nice. Traxxas is also gaining in popularity. Stampede 4X4 VXL 1/10 Scale Brushless High-Performance Monster Truck. Easy to drive & good for a first RC truck. Enjoy.

Batteries for rc trucks?
OK so I just got a new RC truck and I want to know what kind of batteries I can or should get to make it go faster and last a while (play time) its a redcat volcano epx pro I know if I ues lipo battery it will go faster but will it last long or am I just better off going with a nimh battery if I’m worrying about play time if you can’t tell I’m really new to the hobby but really wanting to know as much about it as I can any help would be greatly appreciated here

As it says on their website, it should have this brushless, Speed Control – Bushless ESC (2s LIPO Ready). They said that it can take these batteries:
5000 Ni-MH Battery – 7.2V
5000 LIPO Battery – 7.4V 2S 20C Hard Case
5800 LIPO Battery – 7.4V 2S 30C Hard Case
Run time for the LiPO, 15 to 25 minutes
The LiPO’s for sure will give you more power and run time (play time). I’d go for the LiPO’s. But it is up to the driver on how aggressive you are going to play. Are you just going to drive it slow and learn how to drive? If so then you’ll have a long run time.
Now if you are going to race it, do jumps, do tricks then you’ll have a somewhat shorter run time. Be sure to take care of the batteries as well. Your local hobby store can give you more info on that.
