Michael asks…
rc Nitro buggy???? redcat shockwave or exceed hyper speed?
both at 119$ or is there some better rc nitro car out here for a low price??? any tips plz help need as soon as possible

For a little extra you’ll get the Redcat Tornado BB but if you really can’t get the extra cash to get it, then it doesn’t matter. The Shockwave and Hyperspeed are basically the same buggy.
The only reason I mentioned the Tornado BB is because the front suspension arms look a little stronger, the shocks are aluminium, it has a bigger engine and it’s 2 speed. It just seems like a stronger off roader, but that’s not to say the Shockwave or the Hyperspeed are bad, they get good reviews on all the websites I’ve seen.

Joseph asks…
Does my Redcat power starter for my rc nitro car turn clock wise?
I bought a used rc buggy from this guy and as time goes on I’m finding little things that might not be the way they should. When I use my power starter instead of my pull start is the long rod suppose to spin clock wise or counter-clock wise? I charged the battery for the starter and hit the switch but when I put it in the hole to quick start it, it’s spinning the wrong way. Maybe the gears are backwards in the starter due to the previous owner? I don’t know. I need some feedback here.

The engine will only start one way. The engine turns clockwise. If your starter spins the engine the wrong way then don’t use it, it may damage the engine. Check if you installed the batteries in the roto starter the opposite way. I don’t see how the gears could be ‘backwards’.
Any further questions feel free to email/IM me. I will be glad to help.

Sandra asks…
I am debating on what rc truck to buy between the three.?
DuraTrax Nitro Evader ST 1:10 Scale RTR Stadium Truck OR THE
4X4 NITRO GAS RC REDCAT 1/10 VOLCANO SV RACING truck
OR THE
2007 Traxxas Nitro Rustler TRX 2.5 Engine
RC Staff Member Answers:
The debate should be between the Nitro evader and the rustler. If you want Quality parts last longer and off roading go with the Ruster. If you want lesser quality but 4 weel drive for better traction and speed (racing in particular) get the nitro evader. I have both and dont notice a tremendous differnce between 2 and 4 wheel drive. The rustler has better quality parts and takes more of a beating but the evader and spares are cheaper price. It’s all a matter of preference and wether tou plan to race or bash.
P.s. The rustler will smoke the others and leave them in the dust if you’r looking at the 2.5R version
