Can someone please tell me how to change the engine on an electric RC car?
i have a Traxxas Bandit XL-5 and i was wondering how to swap the engine and ESC to brushless, so just a video or tutorial on how to change the motor will help

The Traxxas website should have some product specifications with the car’s parts diagram to show you how the motor and ESC is installed, just use that as a guide to disassemble the current setup and then go in reverse by installing the brushless setup – do note that the location of the ESC may not be exactly matching the geometry of your new ESC and as for the motor, make sure that the case holes match up to the mounting holes of the car.

If you are really not confident in doing it yourself, then take it your local r/c hobby shop and ask the staff for asssistance

Good First Nitro/Electric RC?
Hey im getting my first Nitro or Electric Rc car,not one of the cheap ones obviously,the only rc cars i ever owned was the cheap bright light ones or the ones from wal mart when i was like 6,so i was wondering ive had my eyes on some but im not sure what to get,i dont have too much money to spend so not something too expensive,the ones ive been checking out are,Hpi Firestorm i really like this my cousins friend had one and it ripped,Traxxas T-maxx,E-maxx waterproof is cool!and the slash,im not sure what to get.You should also take in that i live on a dirt road,puddles when it rains,and i live in maine so there is alot of snow in winter,i also dont want something that wil break everytime i use it,so something i can bash with i guess sorta.Thanks

I sugest to save your money there not what they seem there finiky and alot of work (fornitro + beginner) i would go with electric much easyer for newbs traxxas is good make do what u want
