James asks…

Venom RC Creeper ESC for Brushed/Brushless Motors?

I have a Venom RC Creeper, and one of the required parts is the V2 Pro Brushless ESC 120A (VEN-1339), however the description for the ESC says it’s for Brushless motors, and I have a Fireball Crawler Motor 55 Turn Sing (VEN-1336), which is Brushed.
Does this ESC work with Brushed motors?
Is there another ESC I should use?
Or do I even need one if I use a Brushed motor?

Whats wrong with my Venom Fireball modified 17d RC car engine?

I have a fireball modified 17d RC car engine that doesn’t run it did for about 2 weeks then if just quit. At first when transmitter and controller were on it would sort of beep rapidly then it just stopped and on occasion (like if I put it in a weird position) then it would start but when I pulled the trigger on the controller it would immediately stop. please help that engine was brand new

The engine is probably fine, it is most likely the controller that is bad.

Charles asks…

What is the lifetime of an rc battery.?

I had an emaxx and batteries for three years. My batteries take longer to charge, they last a shorter amount of time, and they don’t have as much powers. I wanted to know how long they usually last. I have venom 7.2 volt 3600 mah nihm batteries

These kind of batteries will start to lose their capacity to charge after a year or two; they will still work but the decreasing power output will continue to drop. I would advise getting the same batteries as you currently have, since they have lasted you 3 years.
