- What would be the best motor for RC Crawler king?
I have a Hpi crawler king, and three motors, a 55t 550 type, a 27t 550 type and a 540 type, from a ZMOTO3(himoto). What one would be best for the crawler king?
A The 55t. By a long way. The turns of a motor refer to speed and torque. The higher the turn, the more torque, but the less speed. Since rock climbers are meant to be about finesse not speed, you want the 55t motor. 27t are generally the motors found in basic stock electric models. The motor from the Himoto is likely a 27 turn, but could also be a 21t. Eitherway, you wouldnt want it in a rock crawler.
