- What would be the best motor for RC Crawler king?
I have a Hpi crawler king, and three motors, a 55t 550 type, a 27t 550 type and a 540 type, from a ZMOTO3(himoto). What one would be best for the crawler king?

A The 55t. By a long way. The turns of a motor refer to speed and torque. The higher the turn, the more torque, but the less speed. Since rock climbers are meant to be about finesse not speed, you want the 55t motor. 27t are generally the motors found in basic stock electric models. The motor from the Himoto is likely a 27 turn, but could also be a 21t. Eitherway, you wouldnt want it in a rock crawler.

- Why does my electric rc truck have more power in reverse?
A couple years ago i got a HPI Crawler King for christmas and it stopped working a few days after, so we sent it back, but when we got it back i noticed the power it had had before going foward was in reverse. now its a couple years later, im more knowledgable and have got a few more trucks, i would like to know how to fix it.

A You may have the radio's throttle/brake(reverse) well... reversed. On your radio there should be a little switch that is labelled "f/r" or something like that. Switch it to the other side and see if your problem is solved. If not, then keep it switched that way and reverse your motor leads. Hope this helps -Dave I think if the reverse switch was backwards he would have to push the trigger to go forward and pull to go backwards. Maybe weight transrer lets it spin easier in reverse. I'm just guessing here. You need to find out how to set your esc. What speed control are you using? Someone on here will surely know how to set it.
