- A good HPI RC Electric car for drifting?
I am looking for a fast, durable HPI/Tamiya electric rc car, for under 200. On-road preferred.
A if you want an rc drift car under 200$, you can either get an hpi e10 drift or associated tc4, but if you want an electric durable car that will last long, the tamiya tt01 is for you :)

- is it a good idea to buy a hpi rc car online or through a shop?
it seems alot cheaper to buy online than buying a rc car from a shop. the shop will cost me $500. if i buy online it will cost me around $300. I AM NOT GOING TO BUY FROM EBAY but there are some rc website that will ship me the car. is it a good idea to buy online or best to just buy from a shop?
A it really doesn't matter honestly, most small hobby shops tend to jack up prices because it's not exactly a booming business these days. other cases involve whether the car is assembled or you have to do it yourself, a shop near my house will assemble your R/C car for you but it costs a bit more. really, you should be more concerned with the brand of your R/C car and not where you buy it from, I recommend Tamiya. I have a gas-powered Lancia HF from Tamiya and it's one of the best R/C's I've ever had.
