- What is a good radio for the Savage X SS?
My wife and I are going to buy new HPI Savage radio control monster trucks. She is getting the Savage 4.6 RTR, but I want to build mine so I'm going with the kit version. Who makes a good-intermediate radio system for the truck? I won't be racing or anything so I don't need anything too fancy. Or would I be better off just to buy 2 RTRs?
A Hi by the time you buy all the extra thing's you will need to get the truck done you will be able to buy another truck that's rtr you will spend about 300$ for all that stuff I would buy the rtr it will save you greatly

I have a savage x 4.6F nitro engine. It has problems after problems. If I trade it in to hpi will they give me the same model for free. Or do I pay the remaining balance of the new engine
