- HPI Wheely King 1/12 is it good or there's better?
I bought it, I know I should wait for answers then decide but I have this thing where once my eye is on something I get it nomatter what. i was looking at more realistic models not as high as the wheely king but then again those won't have the freedom of wheel movements..so I bought this what do you think? I'd use it as a rock climer and crawler then race

A The Wheel king is a very good model from what i hear,it is supposed to be a fun type RC truck for doing stunts like Tamiya's Lunch Box And Midnight Pumpkin. it really depends on what you want to use the model for?..just to muck around with in your garden or local park? or want to use it in competition.If your looking for a more realistic model like Tamiya's ford f350,then your going to have to fork out more money,their is a site called www.rc4wd.com that specialises in making metal hop-up parts(up grades) to givr it that realistic look, for RC models like the wheely king and F350,but again they don't come cheap,and in most cases you'll have to buy two of everything,as the sets come in pairs.

hello guys...... I zaim live in KUALA LUMPUR MALAYSIA.....i want to ask a few question about RC rock crawler..... the question is i want to buy a RC rock crawler...but i have alittle bit confuse between HPI whelly king and AXIAL AX10 scorpion...where is the better for rock crawling?if i buy HPI whelly king i must add some money to buy a option part to transform the HPI Wheelly king to became a rock crawler...but if i buy axial ax10 scorpion i just to put a battery and run it....my problem is where is the better for rock crawling?if i buy axial is it have option part like colourful suspension or some part to make rc rock crawler become a monster rock crawler...what i mean can i change the some part to become a extream rock crawler? My 2 question is can we play our rock crawler at place where have a water?is it effect any electronic part?because i have see a many video in youtube where some people play their rc rock crawler pass to the water..... sorry guys my english in not so good..

A hey, so you know, i do not own a rock crowler, but have been in the hobby for many years and have seen and crawled with both rigs. i would definatly go with the axial. it was built for crawling and has unlimited after market parts. it is very user freindly and easy to upgrade. the hpi needs alot of work to become a real good crawler. for more info on crawling, check out some forums. there are sections in most rc forums that are dedicated to just crawling and are loaded with information and other rc'ers from around the world that are into crawling. they can answer all your questions. link to the forum that i am on. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_277/tt.htm
