- Is Traxxas worth the extra money?
I'm looking for my 1st nitro truck. So far I like the Traxxas Slayer PRO 4x4 but its about $500. I'm also looking at RedCat Racing's Aftershock 3.5 for about $300. I seen Youtube vids of the Aftershock being abused and surviving so I feel its a good quality truck that can take a beating. I can't however find any vids or reviews on Traxxas's quality. Are they tough enough to survive a beating? I want to buy the Slayer but the aftershock looks so tempting. I'm not a fan of the aftershock's low profile either. A 6 years ago i ould have told you to stay away from traxxas with every breath in your body, but since the revo came out, they seem to have increased their quality 10 fold. another thing, STAY AWAY FROM REDCAT RACING!!! ive seen all those vids before, and probably EVERY RC video on youtube, but between customer support and part availability, they blow hard.Think about it this way, 2 or 3 years from now when your engine takes its last breath, traxxas will replace it for $15. good luck getting ANYONE else to do that.and i dont know if youve ever driven a revo or any other revo-chassised vehichle, but the handling is phenomenal.Actually, i might get the 5907 myself as i was thinking of getting a new nitro truck as ive been in electric only for a few years. If you can swing it, get the slayer pro 4x4. You will not regret it.

- how do i get traxxas or hpi as a sponsor?
im almost 16 years old and rc cars are my life i spend as much time as i can racing with my friends who are in there 20's and 50's and i can cream them no problem we've raced every traxxas model ( we being about 23 of us) Jato 2.5 Jato 3.3 Rustler Nitro Rustler Stampede4x4 Nitro Stampede Bandit Slash 2WD Slash 4x4 Revo1/16 slash1/16 also hpi models Baja 5b 2.0 Baja 5t Savage 4.6 savage flux savage xl coyote bullet 3.0 firestorm 10t Apache flux blitz pro if any one can help me talk to who ever is in charge of there racing teams thank you alot just no one tell me about redcat or bigsquid or venom im very serious about this and will do anything short of killing someone to get there sponsorship if you can help please tell me

A The only way your going to become sponsored is if you get a following. You need to be entering races and competing were people in the know are watching. Also being a responsible unbiased user on many forums helps get your name out. People get to know you and if you act like your super mature (no complaining, saying this or that sucks, etc.) people will take you more seriously. Also you need to win. In short: Race at competitions, win, be friendly and make friends, and most of all!!! BE PROFESSIONAL AND MATURE.
