- How to make a rc car?
Basically i wanna make a basic Remote control car, its gotta be 4wd, quite high ground clearance, i just wondered if any ones got the links / pics / guide how to do it? I will be making my own chassis and im confussed with the remote control bit?

A High ground clearance and 4WD means you're a monster truck or rock crawler kinda guy. Mike is right about looking at what others have done. The most basic monster truck I could recommend for you is the Ground Pounder by Redcat Racing. http://www.redcatracing.com/GroundPounder It's a TVP design which is simple and 4-link suspension which is easy to understand. Another company, Axial racing takes the 4-link suspension further and makes a better truck - similar in design to the Ground Pounder. Note - most of these trucks are made for slower speeds but can twist and articulate over rocks easily. For a quick lesson on electronics, look at the Traxxas website. The Traxxas Slash, 2WD has a basic electronics package consisting of a steering servo, ESC for throttle control, a transmitter and receiver, and a motor. Hope it helps.

- What R/C crawler should i get.?
I am new to this sport and need advice. I like the Axial ax10 and losi mini rock crawler. are these good starter cars? Also if you guys have any other cars that you suggest that are under 200$ and electric let me know! thanks

A check out the redcats. they make a 1/8 scale crawler that is amazing. and there 1/10 craweler is great too. comes with digitel radio, 4wheel stearing and some extra goodis for about $179 on ebay
