- comparing battery life for traxxas bandit extreme buggy?
i want to buy an traxxas bandit extreme buggy and i want to know the battery life of these two batteries to see whitch one last the longest. 7 cell battery 7.2v battery BEST ANSWERE GETS REWARDED
A First of all, there is no suck think as a "bandit extreme buggy". It's called a Traxxas Bandit or Bandit VXL, and it depends on the quality of the pack. A 7 cell battery is equivalent to 8.4v because every cell is 1.2v each. so a 7.2v battery is a 6 cell. So comparing a a 6 can 7 cell pack is like comparing apples to oranges. I need more information because a 6 cell could easily out preform a 7 cell if the mah is higher or it's a better quality. If one is NiCd and one is NiMh, that would also change everything. Right now if they are they same company and the same mah and type of pack (nimh or nicd) I would say the 7 cell would last longer. email me with more information about the batteries and I'll tell ya more.

- What Traxxas R/C car is right for me?
Hi, I have a couple questions regarding Traxxas R/C cars. I currently have a Team Associated RC18MT but want something faster and I am considering a Traxxas vehicle due to the fact that almost (or all) of their models are waterproof. Anyways, my friend is getting a Traxxas Bandit Extreme soon and I wanted to be a little bit faster than him. (Bandit hits 35mph stock) So the cars I was looking at are the Bandit VXL and the Rustler VXL, maybe even the Stampede VXL. Here's what I want out of the cars: I would like to mainly drive it on the road, (e.g. Drag race my friend's cars) drive it in some sand/mud, when winter comes I'll be driving in snow all the time and there are some rocks nearby my house so I'll be driving there too. Leave me what model you think would suit me best below and why. All answers are greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
A if its going to spend 90+% of its time onroad,then i would say get the bandit VXL. BE WARNED- they are capable of going "too fast", and if you're not very experienced, be VERY careful driving it, or you will get to know your local hobby shop people a little too well. I would also maybe think about the 1/16 Revo vxl, as it would SMOKE your buddies buggy and are incredibly fun and offer big scale performance in a small package, just a suggestion though.
