- Are the red cylinder things inside the spur gear important on the traxxas nitro rustler?
I bought a traxxas nitro rustler recently and I didn't just strip the spur gear I warped it... All the red cylinder things inside of it are all melted together. I have a replacement but it doesn't have all those red things. Are those important to have? What is the part number for that?
A Yes, they are important. They keep the slipper from destroying the spur gear. The slipper pads actually make contact with the slipper pegs instead of the gear. Hi, I recently upgraded from a Traxxas Nitro Rustler to a Traxxas Jato 3.3. I want to use the transmitter that came with my Jato with my Rustler. My Rustler uses a TQ transmitter item #2222 but my Jato uses the 2 channel TQi transmitter item #6509. What do I need to buy/do to use my TQi transmitter on my Rustler?
