- Cyber Power Pc Computer?
I was very content on building my own pc with parts from new egg. After looking on this website i realized i could get a same or better computer for $100 less and they build it for you? With new egg it was costing me $1150 not including shipping and i was getting a $60 case just wondering if you guys have bought from them in the past year

A Is that price including Taxes and Shipping? If not, try to add that in. Moreover, I'm sure you can cut down on your custom rig. Try looking for combos in Newegg as well. If you honestly can't find anything cheaper with the same graphics card, ram (make sure it's the same speed), or CPU, get the CyberPower PC.

This is a cross - post. However, I also wanted it under a general computer topic. Hopefully with that in mind you will leave it stay. :) Right now I am running Warcraft on a : Amd Athalon x2 D core processor 4000 Vista(Ya, I know vista eats about 500mb ram) 1 gig ram lowest end factory ram Geforce 5800(something like that 256 ram I believe) 250mb Hard drive and 2 working and 2 broken USB ports. The only use of the computer is to run WoW. I understand this is not a good 'rig'. Although I do have issues I can still box(run 2 accounts at the same time) and have issues I can tolerate - it works!! I am 95% satisfied with it's performance 90% of the time!!!!! I am able to get the below system. I am not seeking advice on price or where I should get a new computer. Nor can I swap out out the AMD. Just not an options. I am seeking general critique(from all please) on the components. I am also curious if the mother board is a decent match with the chip, video card and ram. Should this be a machine that will be able to run WoW for the next 12 months with little issue? This machine will be a tremendous upgrade from what I currently have, correct? Consider the fact I am happy with what I have now before rushing to an answer that. Before this is dropped off on the back step minor tweaks can be made. It will be a very BIG hassle, VERY big(but is possible if something needs addressed). With that in mind and the fact this machine will be hooked into a dlink router, into the network(professional install) then hooked up to an 8-12 meg DSL line. . . It will just be used for 1 purpose - WoW(Warcraft online game). The setup below will should work 50 - 100 times better than the current rig(described above) with more satisfying results right? It needs to last 4 months - prefer 12. I was told these are 'top line' entry level parts and better than the standard Walmart PC. THANK YOU VERY MUCH(ya caps I know). A It should serve your purpose and yes, the performance difference should be jaw-dropping. It will certainly last longer than 12 months. Right off, you should get a nice sized hard drive with a 32 MB cache and make it your primary hard drive. That will speed things up a little, especially if you move your Documents folder and your page file to the 500 GB drive. Now, the other issues that I see with this computer are simple. You have a top of the line processor coupled with more or less already obsolete components. This is OK, though, since you can upgrade around the processor in this build. Personally, I'd go with a motherboard that supports DDR3 and, of course, some (8 GB?) DDR3 RAM running at 1600 MHz (twice as fast as what you're getting with the above machine). This will give you a significant all-around performance increase And of course the other thing would be the video card, though you can certainly wait 12 months to do that. With those changes, I see no real reason why the computer would be considered obsolete for at least the next 2-3 years. _
