- what do i do with the small white connecter on my Li-Po battery?
I recently bought a 5000mah 2 cell 30c Li-Power Venom battery for my RC buggy, and there is a large connector which would fit the car and the charger, but there is also a little white thing that seems not to connect to anything. Do i need to do something with it, because i don't want to damage the car or battery.

A That plug is suppose to connect to your charger. It's a balancing plug. It balances the Lipo while you are charging it. Hopefully you are using a charger that is made for charging a Lipo battery. If you are, it should have a place to plug that balancing plug into. If you are NOT using the correct charger, you will damage the battery and it could possibly explode. Not explode to the point of movie type blowing up your house or neighborhood but it could cause serious injury and some serious damage to the room/area where you are charging it and/or cause a fire. Lipo batteries are a lot more complex than your normal NiMH or store bought batteries. It's a lot to read but it's important that you know the danger and proper charging for these type of batteries. A This is a bit of a tall order, as just the electronics can run more than £150 (a good transmitter alone can be this much). But I don't want to dampen your enthusiasm. What you're looking for is possible, you've just got to know you won't end up with a top of the range set-up (or close to it) for this kind of cash.
